This 25 year old Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky from LAPHROAIG distillery was produced for our XI CECBL annual meeting, that was held in Madrid in September 2021.
Due to import issues after Brexit, we did not receive the miniatures on time for the meeting. In fact there was an 11 month delay, so we decided to postpone its presentation until the recent XII meeting in Cordoba.
As you can see in the images, the miniature belongs to the “The Single Malts of Scotland” series and was bottled for the CECBL in the UK by Elixir Distillers Ltd. It comes in a dedicated cardboard tube, as usual with Laphroaig miniatures.
It is a limited edition of 90 bottles, laser numbered on the back of the bottle.
In the pictures we can see bottle number 86/90. It is a 5 cl miniature with a strength of 50.9% vol.
It is an exclusive miniature for members of the club as of September, 30 2022. All the participants in the Cordoba meeting have already been able to get it directly at the meeting and for those who could not attend, the club has subsequently offered them the possibility of acquiring it, with the limitation of one bottle per member.
