Program of 7th CECBL Annual Meeting – Granada 2017

Please find described here below the program of activities to develop during the seventh annual meeting of the CECBL to be held on 22 and 23 September in Granada (Spain).

The program is definitive, so the potential attendees can now schedule their trips.

It’s advisable that registrations are made as soon as possible, because it will allow to avoid potential problems of lack of rooms. The entry bookings, will be taken by order of entry, and this order will be respected.

DATES AND CITY OF CELEBRATION: 22nd and 23rd of September of 2017 in the city of Granada (Spain)

Hotel Prices:

  • Room for single use + Breakfast: € 87.00 per person per day (VAT included)
  • Double room + Breakfast: € 52.50 per person per day (€ 105,00 the room for two persons, VAT included)
  • Parking: € 19,00 per day.

The prices indicated are exclusively for the three nights of the meeting, from Thursday to Friday, from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday. If additional days are desired they can be booked but the reservation and the indicated prices are not guaranteed until the hotel confirms it. The club will transmit the response provided by the hotel to the applicant, who may confirm or desist from that reservation extension.

A C T I V I T Y    P R O G R A M

DAY 21, THURSDAY

Arrival of the participants to the Hotel by their own means.

  • 22:00 h: Dinner at the Hotel Carmen’s restaurant. Menu:
    • First course: Smoked salmon and mango with asparagus and small Sakura salad
    • Main dish: Iberian sirloin roasted in frying pan of potatoes and parmesan with Jerez sauce
    • Dessert: Piononos cake
    • Drinks: Mineral water, soft drinks, beers, juices, white and red wine, cava, coffee

Dinner price: 33,00 € per person (VAT included)

DAY 22, FRIDAY

Tourist visit

  • 09:00 h: Departure from the hotel by bus to Padul
  • 09:20 h: Visit Liber distilleries
  • 10:00 h: Departure to Motril
  • 11:00 h: Visit Pre-industrial Museum of Sugar Cane
  • 12:30 h: Visit Ron Montero Distillery
  • 14:00 h: Lunch at Golf Club Los Moriscos Restaurant
  • 16:00 h: Departure to Nerja
  • 16:45 h: Arrival to Nerja (Visit “Chanquete boat” and Balcón de Europa area)
  • 18:30 h: Departure to Granada
  • 20:00 h: Arrival to Hotel

Menu lunch Golf Club Los Moriscos Restaurant:

  • Starters: Eggplant fried with sugarcane honey, Kumato salad with avocado and melva and Fried fish (boquerones, puntillitas, etc.)
  • Main Dish (to choose one of the following): (1) Cod with garlic mouse on Cassé tomato bed / (2) Iberian cheek stew in its juice with fruits of the earth and crispy potato sticks / (3) Seafood rice (Señoret rice) / (4) Baby squid black rice with alioli / (5) Mixed dish with the two kinds of rice.
  • Dessert: Mango cheesecake with brownie soil.
  • Coffee or infusion.
  • Drinks: Mineral water, soft drinks, beers, White wine (D.O. Granada) Calvente Xate-O and red wine (D.O. Ribera del Duero).

Total price for the activity: visits, lunch at the Golf Club Los Moriscos Restaurant and transfers by bus is € 49,00 per person (VAT included).

Dinner at Oleum Restaurant and traditional auction of minibottles

  • 22:00 h: Dinner at Oleum Restaurant. Menu:
    • Starters: Trilogy of cold soups (Ajoblanco, salmorejo and cucumber) made with Picual and Arbequino oil, Pork loin, Aged cheese with picual oil and rosemary and Ham croquette.
    • Main Dish (to choose one of the following): Pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce or Confit Cod with picual oil on confit tomatoes and baby habitas
    • Dessert: Greek yogurt with oil and tropical fruit.
    • Drinks: Mineral water, soft drinks, beers, White wine (D.O. Rueda) and red wine (D.O. Ribera del Duero).
  • 23:00 h: Auction of miniature bottles provided by attendees.

Dinner price: € 38.50 per person (VAT included).

DAY 23, SATURDAY

Exchanges

  • 08:00 h. to 09:00 h: Setting up tables for exchanges. Price of the table: € 20 for members and € 25 for non-members (VAT included)
  • 09:00 h. to 11:30 h: Exchange of miniatures.
  • 11:30 h. to 11:45 h: Coffee break.
  • 11:45 h. to 14:00 h: Exchange of miniatures.
  • 14:00 h. to 15:00 h: Lunch for Club members and attending collectors in the exchange room. Menú:
    • Cold starters: Iberian ham slices and Tuna Tacos.
    • Hot starters: Paste of leeks and mushrooms and hongos y Salmon puff pastry.
    • Main dish: Beef Cheeks.
    • Dessert: Pineapple raviolis.
    • Drinks: Mineral wáter and red wine (D.O. Rioja). Price of the meal: € 27.50 per person (VAT included).
  • 15:00 h. to 17:30 h: Close of the exchange session.

Ordinary General Assembly of the Club

  • 18:30 h. to 19:30 h: Ordinary General Assembly of the Club.

Closing cocktail

  • 21:00 h: Departure by minibus to the Albayzín.
  • 21:30 h: Closing cocktail of the meeting at Restaurante Las Tomasas. Menu:
    • Cocktail: Shrimp Pancakes, Fried eggplants with cane honey, Baby teaspoons with ham, Octopus Pipirrana, Remojón Granadino, Vasitos de Gazpacho and Salmorejo, Marinade in marinade, Pinchitos morunos, and Various pastries “Casa Pasteles”.
    • Drinks: Mineral water, soft drinks, beers, juices. White wine (D.O. Granada) Calvente Xate-O and red (D.O. Granada) Calvente Guindalera. Price of the cocktail (including transport): € 41,00 per person (VAT included).
  • 24:00 h: Return to the hotel by minibus

Note: The companions have Saturday morning and afternoon at their free disposal.

DAY 24, SUNDAY

Return of attendees to their respective homes.
