Agenda of the CECBL IV Meeting – Valencia 2014

We hereby describe the program of activities to enjoy during the fourth annual meeting of the CECBL, to be held in Valencia (Spain) from September 25th to September 28th.

This is a provisional program because some activities are not definitely closed, so it might suffer some small changes that would not affect the overall program development. We will update the program as soon as we are closing the open issues.

However we have decided to publish this note in order to facilitate all potential attendees their own arrangements regarding voyage details (flights, etc.)

Dates and location of the meeting celebration: From 25th to 28th of September 2014 in Valencia (Spain).

Accomodation: Hotel Silken Puerta Valencia (****) located on Avenida Cardenal Benlloch, No. 28. Details of this hotel can be seen in the Information Note: HOTEL

Hotel prices:

  • Room for Single Use + Breakfast: € 64.00 per person per day.
  • Double Room + Breakfast (for two people) € 35.00 per person per day (€ 70.00 per room).

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

Day 25th, Thursday:

Arrival of participants to the Hotel.

  • From 21:00 hrs: Dinner. The Hotel restaurant will be fully reserved for those participants attending the meeting. Attendees must choose between different menu options to be noticed when booking. Price: € 24.00 per person.

Day 26th, Friday:

  • 09:30 am: Departure by bus from the hotel lobby to the Central Market Area.
  • 10:45 am: Departure of the Central Market to the City of Science.
  • 11:00 am: Visit to the City od Sciences and the Fallas Museum.
  • 01:30 pm: Departure to the Albufera Natural Park with the following program to be carried in the afternoon:
    • Welcome drink in a private place within the Natural Park on the shore of the Albufera.
    • Lunch, consisting of two entrees, salad and as main course, paella; dessert, coffee and liqueurs.
    • Auction of special miniatures presented by collectors.
    • General Annual Meeting of the CECBL according to the advertisement and agenda notified by the Club.
    • Late in the afternoon we will proceed to embark in a boat to navigate in the Albufera and see the sunset from the boat.
    • Departure to the hotel at around 21:00 hours.

The total cost of the activities of this day and the shuttle bus is € 55.00 per person.

  • 10:00 pm: Dinner at the Hotel, in a room specially fitted for attendees. Attendees must choose between different menu options to be offered when booking. Price: € 24.00 per person.

Day 27th, Saturday:

  • 10:00 h – 13:30 h: Sale and exchange of minis in the special room chosen for this purpose and located on the 5th floor of the Hotel. Most of the attendants to the meeting will be hosted in this floor to facilitate movements.
  • 13:30 h – 15:00 h: Light lunch for Club Members and Collectors attending the Meeting in the same room of the exhibition. Price: € 15.00 per person.
  • 15:00 h – 16:00 h: Lecture on a topic related to our hobby. (To be advised).
  • 16:00 h – 17:30 h: Sale of remaining pieces and Meeting closing.
  • 20:30 hrs: Departure for the Ateneo Lounge (in the top terrace) for the closing light dinner. The transport from the hotel will be done on attendants owned cars or by picking up a taxi if necessary.
  • 21:00 hrs: Closing light dinner in the Ateneo Lounge (in the top terrace). Price: € 30.00 per person.

Note: Saturday free for collector’s companions.

Day 28th, Sunday:

End of Meeting and departure to Cognac for those collectors that had chosen this option, or Trip to Cognac
