Every year we try to produce a special miniature for the annual CECBL meeting. For this year’s 2022 meeting, held in Cordoba on 30 September and 1 October, the miniature described below has been produced.
The chosen miniature is a Japanese single malt from the CHICHIBU distillery. This young Japanese distillery, based in the city of Chichibu, was founded in 2004 and started marketing its malts in 2008.
It is a limited edition of 165 small bottles, laser numbered on the back of the bottle.
In the pictures you can see bottle 128/165. The bottle is 5 cl and the alcohol content is 53,3% vol.
This miniature was specially bottled for the CECBL in Scotland by ELIXIR Distillers Ltd. The bottle comes in a high quality cardboard box, the bottle and box being a faithful reproduction of the format of the large bottle.
It was an exclusive miniature for members of the club as of September 30, 2022; all the participants in the Cordoba meeting have already been able to get it directly at the meeting and for those who could not attend, the club has subsequently offered them the possibility of acquiring it, with the limitation of one bottle per member. Currently new members can purchase it at the price of 190 €, plus shipping and handling.
